One of my favorite meditations in summer is to put on a pair of immersible sport sandals and go wading. It forces me to slow down and be in the moment, connecting with nature in multiple senses

Take a wading meditation with me. . .

Feel the cool, cool water on your ankles

Feel the stones under your feet

See the light dappled on the leaves

Breathe in  – fresh air

Sunlight and shadow, running water

Wading+in+Oregon,+JHD

Dip your hands in the water

Cool yourself off

Imagine immersing yourself completely

Take some time just to be
